Foreign Media Praise Kim Il Sung
Pyongyang, July 21 (KCNA) -- Foreign media carried special write-ups or aired special programs from July 6 to 13 on the 21st anniversary of demise of President Kim Il Sung.

The Lao news agency released the following article titled "Model internationalist" illustrated with a portrait of the smiling President:

The President defended Russia with arms even in the harsh days when he was waging an arduous armed struggle against the Japanese imperialists with neither assistance from a regular army nor state-backed home front to liberate Korea from the Japanese military occupation.

He also rendered sincere support to the Chinese revolution.

He rendered material and moral support to the countries and nations in their struggles for independence against imperialism, notably the Cuban and Vietnamese peoples in their anti-U.S. struggle, while building socialism in the ceaseless confrontation with the U.S. imperialists after the Korean war.

The history of struggle in Laos, Syria, Angola, Namibia and many other countries is recorded with his noble internationalist obligation.

The Bangladeshi paper Daily Folk said in an article titled "Eternal sun of Juche" the President is still alive in the hearts of all people as the sun of Juche as he ushered in the era of independence and dedicated his whole life to the cause of human independence.

The Congolese paper Le Patriot carried a portrait of the smiling President with articles titled "Motto of President Kim Il Sung" and "Iron-willed brilliant commander".

The Egyptian TV broadcasting service praised the President for performing great exploits for the Korean revolution and the cause of global independence.
