Thorough Investigation into Anthrax Case Demanded in South Korea
Pyongyang, July 17 (KCNA) -- The People for Achieving Peace and Reunification and other south Korean public organizations staged an action for independence, peace and reunification in Seoul on July 14.

The participants referred to the recent disclosure of the fact that the U.S. conducted anthrax experiments in south Korea and other countries.

The present south Korean chief executive failed to utter even a word in protest against the U.S. even though it was disclosed that the U.S. troops in south Korea secretly conducted experiments on botulinus which is one hundred thousand times more poisonous than anthrax, they deplored, and went on:

The U.S. and south Korean regime reportedly formed a joint working group to look into the anthrax case but it was not enough for thorough investigation and prevention of its recurrence.

They underscored the need to form a fact-finding group comprising civic and public organizations in order to probe the truth about the case.
