Korea's Reunification Supported by Egyptian Personage, Brazilian Body

Pyongyang, July 17 (KCNA) -- Yehia Zakaria Khairullah, vice-chairman of the Socialist Freedom Party of Egypt and chairman of the Egypt-Korea Friendship Association, made public a statement on July 9 to observe the June 25-July 27 month of anti-U.S. joint struggle.

The statement said:

The Korean nation has been divided by the U.S. imperialists for 70 years.

The U.S. should withdraw its aggressor forces from south Korea and the south Korean authorities should not follow outsiders but take the stand of By Our Nation Itself for Korea's reunification.

Reunification of Korea is directly related to world peace and security.

The U.S. should pull its forces out of south Korea as early as possible.

Meanwhile, a Brazilian body sent a solidarity message to the Central Committee of the General Federation of Trade Unions of Korea in support of the Korean people's just cause on July 1.
