S. Korean Puppet Security Authorities' Violation of Freedom of Academic Pursuits Slammed
Pyongyang, July 16 (KCNA) -- The south Korean puppet security authorities suppressed a Korean scholar in the U.S. on charges of violation of the draconian "Security Law", according to the south Korean internet paper Jaju Sibo on July 15.

Fascist policemen stormed the house of Kim Sang Il, a Korean scholar in the U.S., in Seoul on July 13 and conducted a search operation for more than 10 hours, asserting that he serially posted "With the Century", reminiscences of President Kim Il Sung, on an internet paper and gave a lecture on reunification.

The puppet Ministry of Justice confiscated Kim's passport and ordered him not to leave south Korea and is pressurizing him to face questioning from July 17.

Members of civic and public organizations of south Korea and Koreans in the U.S. lodged a strong protest with the security authorities against their reckless crackdown upon Kim.

They branded the authorities' action as suppression of the freedom of academic pursuits and conscience.
