The first vice-chairman of the Cuban Committee for Supporting the Reunification of Korea said that victorious and glorious history of the DPRK would be unthinkable apart from the President.

The President energetically worked to realize the ideal and dream of the people till the last moments of his life, possessed of boundless love for them, the first vice-chairman said, and went on:

Though the President passed away, his tender-hearted image will be kept forever in the hearts of not only the Korean people but the world progressives.

The general secretary of the New Yugoslav Communist Party of Serbia paid high tribute to the President. He said:

The President was not only an invincible and iron-willed commander and outstanding strategist who embarked upon the road of the revolution in his early years and defeated the U.S. and Japanese imperialists but also the world elder statesman who made immortal contributions to the human cause of independence.

The president of the International Taekwon-Do Association in Iran noted that Kim Il Sung dedicated himself to the happiness of the Korean people, prosperity of the country and the cause of global independence.

We will always remember the feats of Kim Il Sung, he added.
