The bulletin said that July 8 marks the 21st anniversary of demise of Kim Il Sung, eternal President of the DPRK.

On the occasion of the day, not only the Korean people but also progressives of the world are recollecting with deep emotion the President who performed immortal feats before the history and mankind with his outstanding idea and theory and great revolutionary practice, it noted, adding:

Though he passed away, his idea and cause are being carried forward.

The bulletin in an article titled "Outstanding leader in the 20th century" highly praised him as the world elder statesman who pioneered the new era of independence and led the cause of independence against the imperialists to victory.
