U.S. Reinforces Aggression Troops in Asia-Pacific
Pyongyang, July 2 (KCNA) -- It has been disclosed that the U.S. has reinforced aggression troops in Asia-Pacific for the past four years, pursuant to its rebalancing strategy, according to south Korean Yonhap News on June 30.

According to it, 22 000 more troops have been put under the U.S. Pacific command in the said period.

The U.S. Navy deployed two more destroyers in Japan and increased the number of the aircrafts of its Pacific Fleet to 1 111.

The U.S. Marines reinforced more than 210 aircrafts and organized a 1 150-personnel shift duty unit.

The U.S. recently made rotation deployment of several Virginia-class nuclear submarines in the 7th Fleet of the Pacific Fleet.

The U.S. nuclear submarine Michigan anchored off Pusan on June 23 as part of the above-said deployment.

This reinforcement poses grave threat to peace on the Korean peninsula and Asia-Pacific.
