The participants laid a floral basket and bouquets before the statues of Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il in Chongjin City and paid tribute to them.

Present at the meeting were the captain and crewmen of the Kiribati-flagged ship New Global.

Speakers said that the President made unremitting efforts for the country and revolution, the people, reunification of Korea and global peace till the last moments of his life.

Marshal Kim Jong Un has successfully realized the cause for perpetuity of the leaders and is translating the desire of the great leaders into a brilliant reality, they noted.

They expressed belief that the DPRK will demonstrate its might before the whole world as a rich and strong reunified country in the near future as it is led by Kim Jong Un.

A letter to him was adopted at the meeting.
