DPRK's Principled Stand for Reunification Introduced
Pyongyang, July 1 (KCNA) -- A British paper carried write-ups and Guinean radios aired special programs on the 15th anniversary of the publication of the June 15 North-South Joint Declaration.

The June issue of the British paper Line of March carried an article titled "Efforts for peace on the Korean peninsula, 15th anniversary of historic June 15 North-South Joint Declaration" accompanied with a photo showing the exploits leader Kim Jong Il performed for reunification.

The paper said the DPRK government released a statement on the 15th anniversary of the joint declaration to say that the publication of the joint declaration enabled the north and the south to see a new era in which the half a century-old inter-Korean distrust and confrontation are removed and they go for reconciliation, unity and reunification by their concerted efforts.

Great achievements had been made in the movement of Korea's reunification since the publication of the joint declaration, it noted, and went on:

The DPRK has made continuous efforts for the improvement of the inter-Korean relations.

The Korean nation will drive the U.S. forces out of south Korea and reunify the country in the near future.

Guinean domestic radio on June 22 introduced the principled stand of the DPRK working to mend the north-south relations and reunify the country.

The Guinean international and seven language radios aired the similar program on the same day.
