Present there were members of the WPK delegation, Pak Chang Yul, DPRK ambassador to the DPRK, Oscar Martinez Cordoves, deputy head of the International Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba, and officials concerned of the foreign ministry.

At the meeting the foreign minister said that Cuba attaches weighty importance to the friendly relations between the two countries provided by Fidel Castro Ruz and President Kim Il Sung and will invariably develop them.

He highly praised the Korean people for making remarkable achievements under the wise guidance of Marshal Kim Jong Un.

Cuba will maintain the socialist principle under the present situation, he stressed.

The delegation visited different places in Havana including the Cuban Revolution Museum.
