Kim Jong Il Praised by Foreigners
Pyongyang, June 27 (KCNA) -- Events were held in foreign countries from June 16 to 20 to mark the 51st anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il's start of work at the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK).

They included a meeting and book and photo exhibition in the UK, round-table talks in India and meeting in Pakistan.

Displayed in the exhibition were photos dealing with the revolutionary career and exploits of Kim Jong Il.

Books and photos introducing the DPRK were also on show.

The general secretary of the Central Committee of the New Communist Party of Britain said that Kim Jong Il performed undying exploits, adhering to the revolutionary principle in party building and activities since he started the work at the WPK Central Committee, prompted by his noble responsibility for the Korean revolution.

The general secretary of the Central Committee of the Revolutionary Communist Party of Britain (Marxist-Leninist) said the WPK could demonstrate its dignity despite the hostile forces' challenges and rapidly changing world political situation as it held Kim Jong Il in high esteem.

A member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) who doubles as secretary general of All India Indo-Korean Friendship Association and other speakers noted the exploits Kim Jong Il performed in party building and activities would shine forever together with socialist Korea.
