Another Atrocity Committed by U.S. Unearthed in Sinchon
Pyongyang, June 25 (KCNA) -- Sinchon County in South Hwanghae Province of the DPRK is a witness to the brutal atrocities committed by the U.S. imperialists during the Korean War (1950-1953).

At the powder house in Pamnamu-gol (chestnut valley), Wonam-ri of this county alone, the U.S. imperialists massacred 400 mothers and their 102 children.

In May this year, remains of 51 civilians slaughtered by the U.S. imperialists were unearthed near the powder house, fueling the deep-rooted anti-American feelings of the Korean people.

Among those remains are a parietal bone stuck with rusty hoe blade, a skull with a brick in its jaws, crushed skulls and broken bones as well as silver ring, mirror, bottle of camellia hair oil, buttons and pieces of bowls.

The remains were buried in a pit of seven square meters, according to an official concerned.

Ri Myong Song, an official of the Korean Committee for Cultural Relations with Foreign Countries, when interviewed by KCNA in front of graves of 400 mothers and 102 children, said:

Though 62 years have passed since the cease-fire, the remains make us keenly feel that the U.S. imperialists are a herd of brutes, the sworn enemy of the Korean people.

We will never forget the barbarity committed by the U.S. imperialist cannibals and force them to pay for the blood shed by the Korean people at any cost.
