European External Action Service Delegation Leaves
Pyongyang, June 25 (KCNA) -- A delegation of the European External Action Service headed by Gerhard Sabathil, director for Northeast Asia and Pacific, left here Wednesday.

During its stay the delegation paid a courtesy call on an official concerned of the DPRK Foreign Ministry and had the 14th directorial-level DPRK-EU political dialogue. Exchanged there were views on the issue of the bilateral relations, the situation on the Korean peninsula and human rights issue and other issues of mutual concern.

Officials concerned of the International Affairs Department of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, the Supreme Court, the Supreme Public Prosecutors Office and the Ministry of External Economic Relations and the chairman of the DPRK-EU Friendship Parliamentary Group had conversations with the delegation.

The delegation visited the Masikryong Ski Resort, the Songdowon International Children's Camp, the Pyongyang Baby Home and Orphanage and EU aid objects.

The delegation's visit to the DPRK will contribute to promoting the mutual understanding between the DPRK and the EU and developing the bilateral relations.
