Kim Jong Il's Exploits Praised by Foreign Figures
Pyongyang, June 23 (KCNA) -- Events were held in different countries to mark the 51st anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il's start of work at the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea and the 15th anniversary of the June 15 North-South Joint Declaration.

They included meeting, Korean photo and book exhibition and film shows in Cuba, Norway and Switzerland on June 12 and 13.

Displayed at the venues of the events were photos dealing with the exploits performed by President Kim Il Sung, Kim Jong Il and supreme leader Kim Jong Un.

Also displayed there were their works, and photos and books introducing successes achieved by the army and people of the DPRK in building a thriving socialist nation.

The participants in the film shows watched Korean films "Victorious Fatherland Liberation War Museum" and "Masikryong Ski Resort".

Juan Jose Leon Vega, first vice-chairman of the Cuban Committee for Supporting Korea's Reunification, said that Kim Jong Il organized and led the politics, economy, culture, military and other overall affairs of the country after starting his work at the Party Central Committee.

Dag Norum, chairman of the Ostfold County Committee of the Communist Party of Norway, said that Kim Jong Il frustrated the moves to stifle the DPRK by the U.S.-imperialist allied forces, defended the sovereignty and dignity of the country and nation and provided a firm foundation for building a thriving socialist nation.
