Swiss, Austrian Bodies Support Statement of DPRK Government
Pyongyang, June 21 (KCNA) -- Swiss and Austrian bodies fully supported the statement of the DPRK government.

The Switzerland-Korea Committee and the Swiss Group for the Study of the Juche Idea in a joint statement on June 16 noted:

The DPRK government clarified the following stand in the statement released on the occasion of the 15th anniversary of the June 15 North-South Joint Declaration out of its will to repair the north-south relations and open up a turning phase for achieving national reconciliation and unity:

1. It is necessary to have a firm stand to improve the north-south relations and solve the reunification issue independently by the concerted efforts of the Korean nation.

2. The south Korean authorities should not seek "unification of social systems" inciting distrust and confrontation between the north and the south.

3. The south Korean authorities should stop north-targeted war exercises in collusion with the U.S.

4. It is necessary to create a climate for mending the north-south relations.

5. The north and the south should take practical measures to implement the historic north-south joint declarations.

The statement urged the south Korean regime not to depend on outsiders any more, to begin with, but to stop staging north-targeted war drills which it stages in league with the U.S.

The Group of Youth for the Study of Kim Jong Il Juche idea in Vienna, Austria in a statement on June 17 extended full support to the statement of the DPRK government and demanded the south Korean regime respond to the stand of the DPRK and opt for repairing the north-south relations.
