DPRK's Important Day Observed in Foreign Countries
Pyongyang, June 18 (KCNA) -- Events took place in different countries on the occasion of the 51st anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il's start of work at the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK).

A meeting was held by the Communist Party of Germany, a meeting and photo exhibition by Makerere University of Uganda, a book exhibition and film show in Zamfara State of Nigeria and a film show by a trading company of Indonesia from June 8 to 12.

Displayed at the venues of the events were photos documenting the exploits of President Kim Il Sung, Kim Jong Il and Marshal Kim Jong Un.

Books and photos introducing the prospering DPRK were also on display.

Films shown included a Korean film "My Country Winning Victories Thanks to Single-minded Unity".

The chairman of the Communist Party of Germany said that Kim Jong Il developed the WPK into the party of Kim Il Sung, the Juche-type revolutionary party regarding the Juche idea as the only guidelines and the popular party deeply rooted among the people.

The chairman of the Ugandan National Executive Committee of the Pan-African Movement and other speakers said:

The DPRK is demonstrating its might as the invincible socialist fortress thanks to the Songun politics of Kim Jong Il.

It serves as a precious example to be followed by the people of Uganda and Africa in their struggle for building a new society.
