Memorial Service Held for Two Schoolgirls Killed by GIs

Pyongyang, June 15 (KCNA) -- More than 10 civic and social organizations of south Korea including the People for Achieving Peace and Reunification and the committee for erecting the monument to Mi Son and Hyo Sun held a memorial service on the spot where Sin Hyo Sun and Sim Mi Son were killed by the U.S. imperialist aggressor forces in Yangju City, Kyonggi Province on June 13, 13 years since their brutal killing.

At the service the speakers said that the U.S. troops drove an armored car over the two schoolgirls on their way to their friend's birthday party on June 13, 2002.

If the history of this land had flown properly, there would have never been such a brutal murder of the two schoolgirls, they noted.
