DPRK's Important Days to Be Marked in Myanmar

| Pyongyang, June 13 (KCNA) -- A Myanmar preparatory committee for celebrating the 70th anniversaries of the founding of the Workers' Party of Korea and the liberation of Korea was formed at the building of the Yangon Regional Committee of the Union Solidarity and Development Party of Myanmar on June 5. Tha Win, member of the Central Committee of the Union Solidarity and Development Party of Myanmar and secretary of its Yangon Regional Committee, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee. The committee decided to organize diverse political and cultural events such as meeting, friendship gathering, film show and photo exhibition and extend solidarity to the just cause of the WPK and the Korean people on the occasion of the anniversaries. |
