Koreans in Japan Hold Events for National Reunification

Pyongyang, June 10 (KCNA) -- Koreans in Japan held events for national reunification in Osaka and Kobe of Japan on June 7 to mark the 15th anniversary of the June 15 joint declaration and the 70th anniversary of Korea's liberation, according to Thongil News, an internet paper of south Korea.

Speakers said that the independent and peaceful reunification of Korea is the way of settling many issues facing the Korean nation.

They called for achieving the independent reunification by the concerted efforts of Koreans.

Addresses for solidarity from civic and public organizations of south Korea were introduced.

Then followed a congratulatory art performance given by Korean school students.
