North-South Dialogue Cannot Become Political Plaything of Confrontation Maniacs: Rodong Sinmun

Pyongyang, June 9 (KCNA) -- Recently the south Korean puppet group let Jong Jong Uk, vice-chairman of the "preparatory committee for unification", a body ill-famed for escalating confrontation between social systems, "propose working-level contact", claiming that "if the north agrees on the proposal, the south would be able to do lots of things". The coteries of the Ministry of Unification are working with bloodshot eyes to shift the blame for the stalled dialogue on to the DPRK, shamelessly trumpeting about "north's refusal to hold dialogue" and "regret". The puppet group is kicking off more frantic moves against the DPRK in league with foreign forces, blustering that the group would "lead the north to dialogue through sanctions and pressure".

Rodong Sinmun Tuesday in an article terms it another shameless provocation against the DPRK under the pretext of "dialogue".

No matter how desperately the south Korean puppet forces may try to evade the blame for bedeviling the north-south relations while making profound confusing of right and wrong, they can never conceal their ugly colors as confrontation maniacs, the article notes, and goes on:

If the south Korean authorities are truly concerned about dialogue and have elementary conscience, they should not take issue with the DPRK but look back on the catastrophic consequences brought about by their confrontation moves and apologize to the nation.

The puppet forces are not entitled to talk about dialogue any longer. North-south dialogue cannot become confrontation maniacs' political plaything under any circumstances.

They should not mislead public opinion but roll back the anachronistic and treacherous policy of confrontation and thus show the will for dialogue in practice.
