New Water Quality Multi-parameter Developed
Pyongyang, June 8 (KCNA) -- A new water quality multi-parameter was developed by a research group of Kim Chaek University of Technology in the DPRK.

The instrument makes it possible to monitor and control the major indices of water, including pH, temperature, oxidation-reduction potential and dissolved oxygen. The parameter has already been introduced in many fish farms and fishponds across the country.

Kim Kum Chol, a section chief of the university, said the research group has succeeded in manufacturing the parameter with homemade sensors.

When visiting a fish farm some time ago, supreme leader Kim Jong Un highly appreciated the group for its contribution to the modernization of the farm.

The parameter is portable and weighs light.

Now its utility has been proved in different fields, including foodstuff and smelting industries, sewage treatment and others.
