DPRK's Important Days Marked in Different Countries
Pyongyang, June 8 (KCNA) -- Events took place in different countries to mark the 51st anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il's start of work at the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) and the 15th anniversary of the publication of the June 15 North-South Joint Declaration.

A reading session of Marshal Kim Jong Un's work and film show were held in Benin, a photo exhibition and film show in Nigeria and round-table talks in Ethiopia on May 29 and June 1.

Displayed at the venue of the photo exhibition were photos dealing with the undying feats of President Kim Il Sung, Kim Jong Il and Kim Jong Un.

Also on display there were photos showing the efforts of the army and people of the DPRK for the building of a thriving nation and national reunification.

Films shown included Korean films "Fireworks of a Thriving Nation" and "Monument to the Three Charters for National Reunification".

The chairman of the Benin-Korea Amicable Association "Long Live Kim Jong Il, Supreme Leader" who doubles as chairman of the Benin National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea read out Kim Jong Un's work "Let Us Brilliantly Accomplish the Revolutionary Cause of Juche, Holding Kim Jong Il in High Esteem as the Eternal General Secretary of Our Party".
