His idea and line have become the eternal guidelines of the WPK.

Starting his work at the Central Committee of the WPK, he put great efforts into developing in depth the Juche idea founded by President Kim Il Sung, the father of socialist Korea, as required by the times and developing revolution.

He was an outstanding thinker and theoretician.

Thanks to him, the revolutionary idea of Kim Il Sung was formulated into an integral system of the idea, theory and method of Juche.

Noteworthy in his ideological and theoretical activities is the development of the Songun (army-first) idea.
