S. Korean Civic Organization Launches Action for Peace against War

| Pyongyang, June 5 (KCNA) -- The People for Achieving Peace and Reunification in south Korea staged an action for peace against war in Seoul on June 1, according to the south Korean internet paper Thongil News. The participants noted it was fully revealed that the deployment of THAAD in south Korea poses threat to peace. They said the ever-escalating war moves of the U.S. forces have created such tense situation on the Korean peninsula that a war may break out any time. They demanded the cancellation of the plan for the THAAD deployment and the earliest possible transfer of OPECON to south Korea. |
