Speakers said that various circles of south Korea formed the all-people committee for measures for checking the shutdown of Jaju Minbo and conducted a struggle for defending progressive media against the moves of the authorities to shut down Jaju Minbo.

Although Jaju Minbo was forcibly shut down, activities continued to turn the all-people committee for measures into the preparatory committee for publishing Jaju Sibo and make it popular media for the people, they noted.

They said that the way for the media to follow is to write articles that can help the thorough implementation of the June 15 joint declaration and the October 4 declaration.

They stressed that as Jaju Minbo had taken the lead, Jaju Sibo would also do its best till the day of reunification.
