Rodong Sinmun Raps Japan's Grave Moves to Emerge Military Giant
Pyongyang, June 1 (KCNA) -- War criminal state Japan has entered a grave phase in its moves to become a military giant.

Commenting on this, Rodong Sinmun Monday says: This means Japan has gone far beyond the control line called "three principles of arms export"-- ban on arms export, technology transfer to other countries and joint development and production of weapons.

The Japanese reactionaries have invariably pursued their ambition for overseas expansion, the commentary notes, and goes on:

They have systematically stepped up preparations for overseas expansion in a bid to realize the old dream of "Greater East Asia Co-Prosperity Sphere", crying out for "revenge" for their past defeat.

They have already worked out a "national security strategy" and set up the "national security council." They formally adopted overseas invasion as a state policy and are in the process of implementing it.

The retrogressive revision of the "Japan-U.S. defence cooperation guidelines" made it possible for the "Self-Defence Forces" to conduct their activities without limit.

Now that the SDF have turned into forces for aggression, what remains to be done by Japan at present is to modernize them so that their mobile strike and operation capabilities on the ground, in the sea and the air may be bolstered up to the maximum and have in place weaponry huge enough to fight an actual war.

The Japanese reactionaries are mulling attaining this goal by coordinating the operations of Mitsubishi Heavy Industry, Kawasaki Heavy Industry and other munitions industries.

These robust munitions industries are strongly backing the authorities' reckless moves to turn Japan into a military giant and launch overseas invasion.

The on-going moves of the Japanese government and munitions industries are reminiscent of the situation on the eve of the Pacific War.

The Japanese reactionaries are dreaming of reinvasion of Asia to dominate it.
