Respiratory Epidemic Continues Spreading in S. Korea

| Pyongyang, May 30 (KCNA) -- Mideast respiratory syndrome MERS, a high-mortality respiratory epidemic, is rapidly spreading in south Korea, according to south Korean MBC on May 28. After a man who had visited a Mideast country was confirmed to be infected with the disease, his wife and an old person who were staying with him in the same hospital room were infected with it. Cases of the disease reportedly increased to 7 in a few days. |
