AAPSO Blasts U.S. Secretary of State's Reckless Remarks against DPRK
Pyongyang, May 29 (KCNA) -- The Afro-Asian People's Solidarity Organization (AAPSO) made public a statement on May 24 condemning U.S. Secretary of State Kerry's remarks against the DPRK.

Kerry let loose a spate of invectives against the DPRK during his recent junket to south Korea, the statement said, and went on:

What he uttered was no more than jargons of a loser admitting the failure of the Obama administration's DPRK policy. And it was nothing but last-ditch efforts of the U.S. to evade the responsibility for having driven the DPRK-U.S. relations into the lowest ebb.

The U.S. has lost qualifications to talk about dialogue and the nuclear issue as it has persistently pursued its anachronistic policy to stifle the DPRK.

This is clearly evidenced by the fact that in January last the DPRK showed its willingness to put a moratorium on the nuclear test if the U.S. temporarily discontinues the provocative joint military exercises against it but Washington turned down this offer, scuppering the last chance to settle the nuclear issue.

We strongly demand the U.S. make a fundamental switchover in its viewpoint on the DPRK if the ongoing trend of vicious cycle of confrontation and tension is to be stemmed.
