In response to supreme leader Kim Jong Un's New Year address, officials of ministries and national institutions are taking the lead in this drive. They include the Ministry of Railways, Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications, Ministry of Oil Industry and the Ministry of Food Procurement and Administration.

South Phyongan, Jagang and other provinces of the country, too, have provided a great deal of aid materials to the construction of power stations.

Meanwhile, agitation activities have been conducted at the construction sites by artistes of the Mansudae Art Troupe, the National Circus and other leading art troupes to encourage the builders.
