In the message he said that the 2nd National Meeting of Young Frontrunners in Noble Traits fully demonstrated the revolutionary traits and stamina of the Korean youth.

While meeting and having a photo session with the young frontrunners who participated in the meeting, he keenly felt once again how great and precious are the feats of the great leaders who raised a matchless huge army of youths and successfully settled the youth issue for the first time in history, he said.

The noble spiritual world of youths and their beautiful traits are more precious than pearl and gem, and the growth of such admirable youths is associated with unknown efforts and devotion of the party and youth league organizations, he stressed.

Highly appreciating with satisfaction the officials of the party and youth league organizations who are cultivating the flower garden of virtue with sincerity, true to the Party's idea of attaching importance to the youth, he said: I, on behalf of the first secretary of the WPK, extend heartfelt thanks and comradely greetings to the party and youth league organizations which have trained the forerunners of the era with noble spirit and beautiful traits.

He noted that through the above-said meeting the WPK set forth the militant tasks for the young forerunners in noble traits and all other youths in the country to perform laudable feats in the van of the general offensive for accelerating the final victory.

All the party and youth league organizations across the country should spare no efforts for the youth work, an important matter vital to the prospect of the socialist motherland, holding fast to the great Generalissimo Kim Jong Il's idea of attaching importance to the party, the army and the youth, he said, adding:

It is the steadfast resolution and will of the Party Central Committee to let the young people take the lead in building a thriving nation with firm reliance on them.

He said that he would visit model units, which produce young frontrunners in noble traits, to meet and encourage such admirable youths.

He expressed belief that all the party and youth league organizations across the country would greet the 70th anniversary of the WPK with fresh achievements in the youth work and glorify the 70th anniversary of the Kim Il Sung Socialist Youth League, to be marked next year, as a grand youth festival of the great Paektusan nation.
