Kim Jong Il Highly Praised by Political Figure of Kyrgyzstan

| Pyongyang, May 25 (KCNA) -- A. Usupbayev, chairman of the Central Council of the People Unity-"Kyrgys El" Republican Political Party of Kyrgyzstan, released a statement on May 19 on the occasion of the 51st anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il's start of work at the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK). He said: Comrade Kim Jong Il, general secretary of the WPK, started his work at the Party Central Committee on June 19, 1964. He developed in depth the Juche idea which was founded by President Kim Il Sung, father of socialist Korea, and glorified it as a guiding idea in the era of independence through his energetic ideological and theoretical activities. He resolutely frustrated the moves of the U.S.-led imperialist allied forces, holding higher the banner of Songun when socialism collapsed in several countries at the end of the past century and the enemies ran amuck to stifle socialist Korea. He is the great sun as he authored a lot of famous works, clearly indicating the way for progressive mankind to follow. |
