DPRK Boxer Bags Gold Medal at World Junior and Youth Women's Boxing Championship

| Pyongyang, May 24 (KCNA) -- DPRK boxer Won Un Gyong bagged a gold medal at the 2015 world juvenile and youth women's boxing championship held in Taipei of China from May 16. The championship brought together more than 340 women's boxers from 46 countries including the DPRK, Kazakhstan and Romania and regions. At the juvenile 46 kg category Won Un Gyong defeated her Russian rival 2:1 in the semi-finals and her Turkish rival 3:0 in the finals. Another DPRK boxer Kim Un Jong bagged a silver medal at the youth 48 kg category. |
