Indonesian Party Accuses U.S. of Its Attempted Deployment of THAAD in S. Korea
Pyongyang, May 24 (KCNA) -- The National Guidance Council of the Pioneer Party of Indonesia made public a statement on May 18 denouncing the U.S. for its moves to deploy THAAD in south Korea.

The statement said:

The U.S. attempt to deploy THAAD in south Korea, first overseas deployment in the wake of that in the U.S. mainland and on Guam, is related to its moves to establish MD system, an important component of its strategy to dominate the Asia-Pacific.

The ulterior intention of the U.S. is to forward-deploy high-performance radar in south Korea and thus promptly detect and track missile-related moves of its rivals in Eurasia.

If THAAD is deployed in south Korea, military tensions and confrontation would further escalate on the Korean peninsula and stability be harassed in Northeast Asia.

The statement extended full support and solidarity to the Korean people in their just struggle, recognizing the DPRK's new line on simultaneously pushing forward the two fronts as the most just one for foiling the U.S. repeated moves to stifle and isolate the DPRK by force of arms and defending the dignity and sovereignty of the country.
