Joint Actions for Workers' Right to Existence Called for in S. Korea
Pyongyang, May 18 (KCNA) -- The Trade Unions of the Hyundai Heavy Industry Co. Ltd. and the subcontract branch of Hyundai Heavy Industry Co. Ltd. under the Ulsan chapter of the Metal Workers Trade Unions of south Korea held a joint rally for workers' right to existence outside the office of the trade union of the company on May 14, according to the south Korean internet paper Chamsesang.

The rally was attended by more than 3,000 workers.

Speakers deplored that subcontracted workers have to read others' face even though they got hurt while working, far from demanding wage-hike and nobody takes responsibility even though they meet death.

Calling for pooling efforts of workers against suppression by the company side, they appealed to the workers subject to exploitation to rise in actions.

They called for winning the right to existence through the joint actions of subcontracted workers.
