The sports contest includes ball and heavy and light games and traditional sports events such as ssirum (Korean wrestling) and Taekwon-Do.

Divided into three stages, the contest is to take place in several cities of the country till June.

The contest will serve as an occasion in showing the country's prospect of sports development.
