The Peru-Korea Institute of Culture and Friendship in a preface said the spokesman issued a statement as regards the fact that the U.S. is working hard to deploy THAAD in south Korea under the pretext of "threat" from the DPRK and introduce the U.S.-led missile defense system in south Korea. It went on:

In case THAAD is deployed in south Korea, it will destroy the balance of security in the Asia-Pacific region and spark off a new arms race and escalate tension on the Korean peninsula and in its vicinity.

The U.S. and south Korean puppet authorities should stop at once deploying THAAD in south Korea, a dangerous act of destabilizing the situation on the Korean peninsula and disturbing regional and global peace and stability.

Meanwhile, the Brazilian Committee for Solidarity with the DPRK edited a detailed gist of the statement.
