S. Korean Police's Illegal Use of Tear Liquid Slammed
Pyongyang, May 10 (KCNA) -- Voice of People, an internet paper of south Korea, in an editorial on May 7 denounced the puppet police for ruthlessly suppressing the actions of people of all social standings by firing tear liquid at them.

The editorial charged that the police indiscriminately fired tear liquid at demonstrators when they tried to march to Chongwadae in demand of the probe into the truth about the ferry Sewol disaster, thus wounding them.

Demonstrators said that the police endangered the people's life without any legal ground, it said.

The police's suppression is not only an illegal act but a grave encroachment on the freedom and rights of the people, it noted.

The April 16 Family Consultative Council filed a suit against the police over its suppression, it said. It demanded the "constitutional court" make a correct judgment.
