Director of Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency Indicted
Pyongyang, May 10 (KCNA) -- The April 16 Family Consultative Council in south Korea held a press conference at the Kwanghwamun plaza in Seoul on May 6 at which it indicted the puppet security authorities for violating freedom of assembly, demonstration and speech.

The organization indicted the director of the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency.

It charged that the director ordered the police to repress the demonstrators and supervise the venue of the rally through cameras set up around Kwanghwamun on April 18 when the people staged actions to demand a probe into the truth about the ferry Sewol disaster.

This fell foul of relevant law as the cameras were used for other purpose, it held.

The police fired water guns mixed tear liquid at the participants in the rally, wounding several, it added.
