The statement demanded the present chief executive immediately renegotiate the "enforcement ordinance" of the special law on the ferry Sewol.

The regime passed the "enforcement ordinance" through the "state council meeting" on May 6, revealing once again its real intention to realize its attempt, the statement said.

The "enforcement ordinance" does not ensure the independence and neutrality of the ad hoc committee for investigation into the ferry Sewol disaster and grant those to be investigated the full mandate for the operation of the ad hoc committee, it noted.

It denounced the attitude of the regime which left the poisonous articles as intact as an expression of ignorance of the people's intention.
