The statement said:

The resolution called upon the workers in the north and the south of Korea to further intensify the struggle for the independent and peaceful reunification of Korea this year marking the 15th anniversary of the publication of the June 15 joint declaration.

It expressed the will to take the lead in ushering in the second June 15 era of reunification without fail in firm unity and solidarity under the banner of the north-south joint declarations and successfully hold a football game of workers in the north and the south of Korea for reunification which was declared before all Koreans and thus positively promote the reconciliation and unity of the nation.

It also expressed the determination to closely cooperate in the work to hold joint events of the nation to mark the 15th anniversary of the June 15 joint declaration and the 70th anniversary of Korea's liberation.

We positively back the joint resolution and hope those events will be held with success.
