Sexual Slavery for Imperial Japanese Army Is Historical Fact: Former Japanese Journalist

| Pyongyang, May 7 (KCNA) -- Takashi Uemura, former Asahi Shimbun journalist, gave a lecture at a university in New York on May 4 at which he denounced the Japanese government for denying the coercion involved in the sexual slavery, according to the south Korean KBS. The sexual slavery for the Imperial Japanese Army is a historical fact and the Japanese government should make an apology for it without fail, he said. He stressed once again that story which appeared on Asahi Shimbun in the past about the testimony made by a victim of the sexual slavery was true. |
