Ivory, Gift to Kim Jong Il by Togolese President
Pyongyang, May 6 (KCNA) -- Among exhibits at the International Friendship Exhibition House in the DPRK is an ivory, presented to leader Kim Jong Il as a gift by the president of the Republic of Togo in October Juche 70 (1981) when he visited Pyongyang.

The president prepared the gift out of his gratitude to Kim Jong Il for having rendered all kinds of assistance to the Togolese people in building a new society.

Ivory is considered to be a symbol of longevity in Togo.

The gift represents profound reverence of the president and his people for Kim Jong Il.
