The Thai newspaper Xing San Daily in an article titled "Peerlessly great man" introduced the Juche idea and Songun idea which were founded by him.

The paper praised him for building the socialist system under which the people became the masters of everything, finding himself among them all his life, and making a great contribution to the human cause of independence.

The Tanzanian paper Uhuru dedicated three whole pages to articles titled "Mangyongdae", etc. under the headline "Generalissimo Kim Il Sung, eternal sun of mankind".

It carried a photo of his birthplace in Mangyongdae and praised his revolutionary career and ideological and theoretical and leadership feats he performed on behalf of the era and humankind.

The South African paper Pretoria News carried articles titled "HE Kim Il Sung is the eternal President of the DPRK" and subtitled "Eternal sun".

The Congolese paper Le Patriot dedicated a whole page to articles illustrated with photos showing the Rungna People's Pleasure Park.
