Brisk Activities of KEF
Pyongyang, May 4 (KCNA) -- Since its birth in January Juche 94 (2005), the Korea Education Fund in the DPRK has intensified its assistance to schools in the country.

The Fund helped build a solar greenhouse for a college in Kangso District of Nampho City and a new school in South Hwanghae Province in replace of the old one swept away by flood.

It recently aided Sinuiju Disabled Soldier's School in building a fashionable health complex at the school while helping improve living conditions of Tongrim Orphans' Secondary School and Wonsan Orphanage.

Its assistance has so far reached to several hundred educational units across the country.

The organization is now conducting more positive activities in close cooperation with international bodies and overseas compatriots.

Ko Song Ryol, secretary general of the Fund, told KCNA that the Fund would work harder to bring into full play the advantages of the socialist educational system in the country.
