He said that May Day is a significant holiday fully demonstrating the revolutionary spirit and militant might of the working people of Songun Korea and boosting international solidarity with other people the world over.

As they were guided by President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il, the working people in the DPRK could successfully fulfill their noble historic mission and duty in the efforts to accomplish the cause of the popular masses for independence and the socialist cause, the reporter noted, and went on:

From the very day the President embarked on the road of revolution in his early years, he put forward popular masses as the master of the revolution under the banner of the Juche idea and gave play to their inexhaustible efforts, ushering in a new era of history, Juche era in which a struggle is going on to achieve their independence.

Kim Jong Il rallied working people close around the Party and wisely led to victory their cause of independence and the socialist cause by dint of single-minded unity.

The history of the revolutionary leadership of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il is being steadily carried forward by Marshal Kim Jong Un.

Kim Jong Un reposes firm trust in the workers, farmers and intellectuals in the country who have shared destiny with the Party and remained faithful to it and has given fullest play to their inexhaustible mental power and patriotic enthusiasm. He is wisely leading the drive for implementing the last instructions of Kim Jong Il and the general offensive to build a thriving socialist nation.

The history of the Korean revolution is recorded with the heroic feats the working people have performed by devotedly working for the Party and revolution, country and its people with hammers, sickles and writing brushes, remaining true to the great leaders, the great Party's idea and leadership.
