Mangyongdae Prize Sports Games Close

| Pyongyang, April 30 (KCNA) -- The Mangyongdae Prize Sports Games was closed with due ceremony at the Pyongyang Indoor Stadium on Thursday. The games opened here on the occasion of the birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung. The April 25 Sports Team came first in group standings and the Sports Team under the Ministry of Land and Marine Transport and the Kigwancha Sports Team second and third. Men and women players of the April 25 Sports Team proved successful at the basketball games. Present at the closing ceremony were Choe Ryong Hae, secretary of the C.C., the Workers' Party of Korea, Vice-Premier Kim Yong Jin, officials concerned, officials in the field of sports, sportspersons and other people. |
