IPU Secretary General Visits Mangyongdae
Pyongyang, April 30 (KCNA) -- Martin Chungong, secretary general of the Inter-Parliamentary Union, and his party visited Mangyongdae, the birthplace of President Kim Il Sung, on Thursday.

They went round historic relics preserved with care, being briefed on the career of the President who was born at the low-roofed thatched house in Mangyongdae and nurtured a noble intention to make revolution from his childhood.

They visited revolutionary relics on Mangyong Hill.

At the end of the visit the secretary general said he was deeply moved to hear about the revolutionary family of the President. He went on:

The President's family struggled for the revolution generation after generation.

The experience gained by him in the revolutionary struggle serves as a precious example to be followed by progressive mankind.

The younger generation of the DPRK is adding brilliance to the feats of the President.

The guests also visited the International Friendship Exhibition House, Okryu Children's Hospital, Munsu Water Park, etc.
