Many tailor shops in the country concentrate efforts on the making of Korean dresses and taking the lead in this work is Sinuiju City, North Phyongan Province.

Those tailor shops in the city have worked hard to preserve the peculiarities of traditional costumes through technical course, experience-sharing meeting and prize contest on the making of Korean dresses.

Among them are Chongsong and Chaeha Korean tailor shops well-known for their high technique of making traditional costumes.

Kim Kum Sil, chief of the Chaeha Korean Tailor Shop, told KCNA that all the employees of the shop would strive to steadily improve their skills of making various kinds of traditional costumes.
