A reporter and speakers underlined the need to successfully carry out the behests of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il and devotedly implement the instructions of Marshal Kim Jong Un and the party's agricultural policy.

They stressed the need to strengthen the political work to give fullest play to the mental power of agricultural workers in immediate rice transplanting and maize planting.

They called for widely applying scientific farming methods including water-saving farming method and doing farming in a scientific and technological manner as required by the Juche farming method.

They called for carrying out the rice transplanting and maize planting as scheduled, registering great achievements in agricultural production and thus positively contributing to glorifying this significant year as a year of great victory and great revolutionary auspicious events.

They challenged the organizations of the Union of Agricultural Workers of Korea and agricultural workers across the country to a socialist emulation for winding up rice transplanting and maize planting qualitatively in the right season.
