Kim Il Sung's Feats Praised by Indonesian Paper

Pyongyang, April 22 (KCNA) -- The Indonesian paper International Media on April 8 devoted one whole page to a special write-up under the headline of "Congratulations on Korea's Day of Sun" on the occasions of the Day of the Sun (the birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung) and the 50th anniversary of the Indonesia visit by the President and leader Kim Jong Il and the 50th anniversary of the naming of a beautiful flower Kimilsungia.

It said that the President performed ideological and theoretical feats to be specially recorded in the history of human thought.

It praised him for performing feats by building the party, army and state. It went on: He was the distinguished leader who steered the cause of global independence.

By putting forward the slogan "The World People Advocating Independence, Unite!" he sincerely helped the national independence of many countries and their independent development and conducted energetic activities to strengthen the socialist movement, the non-aligned movement and other progressive movements aspiring after independence against imperialism.

The paper introduced his whole life characterized by his love for people, saying he was called "the fatherly leader" in his lifetime and is revered as "the eternal President of the DPRK" by the people even after his demise.
